An exploration into regenerating the existing.

Collection 1:0 : ROTATION acts as a comment on cultural shifts in the landscape of working IRL and the formalities of the 9-5. Reworking and rebranding the post-consumer white shirt re-routes the future irreverence of this iconic garment as a previously important workwear status symbol.

The Sun, a dress.

Designed for Helen Kirkum's AW24 London Fashion Week presentation communicating ideas of alternative methods incl. regrow, repair and transform.  Observing nature's cyclical systems of regeneration as a blueprint to recreate within our practices.

The pattern originates from a simple circle, echoing the sun's form. The fabric, fourteen deconstructed shirts, are collated to celebrate the craftsperson-ship of the previous garment. Original cuffs, buttons, plackets are transplanted as functional details, allowing for an unpredictable drape and energy to the silhouette.
